Azure Advisory Service Full is an annual, recurring advisory program and advisory managed service that helps organizations use Microsoft Azure efficiently and in a controlled manner. It combines cost control and optimization, proactive notification of retired services or major version updates, governance and identity management aligned to Microsoft best practices, recommendations to improve reliability and operational excellence, a yearly architectural assessment based on Well‑Architected principles, and training to strengthen internal skills. The service is advisory by design (guidance, reviews, roadmap, enablement); operational needs can be addressed with dedicated managed services when required.
Scope & cadence
Within this advisory managed service, the standard cadence includes:
- Semiannual Azure consumption analysis with report and actionable cost‑optimization recommendations.
- Semiannual analysis of retired services/major updates with impacted items and required customer actions.
- Annual Reliability report and Annual Operational Excellence report with improvement guidance.
- Annual architectural assessment focused on a selected theme, with a documented report.
- Enablement & knowledge sharing: at least one webinar and one personalized interactive training session (minimum 4 hours).
- All activities are documented and shared through structured reports; responsibilities follow a RACI model (provider R/A on reports and assessment; customer I).

Excluded from this advisory managed service: continuous operational management (for example, 24/7 monitoring, patching, backup operations, real‑time incident handling), system/application support inside VMs, software development or complex automation unrelated to advisory, migration/implementation or delivery projects, licenses/subscription costs, specialized security suites or services. Remediation and change are not included; reactive activities are quoted separately as needed, and operational managed services are available via dedicated offerings.
