3f-solutions - Ledger Import enables Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations teams to import General Ledger journal entries from any structured source file — CSV, XML, Excel, or custom flat files — without writing X++ code for each new format.
The solution uses the standard Electronic Reporting (ER) framework already built into D365 F&O. Instead of hard-coded import logic, format mappings are configured through ER's model-to-datasource mapping — making the importer fully flexible and maintainable by consultants without a developer in the loop.
What the license includes:
- Deployable package for one D365 F&O tenant
- Journal import dialog integrated into the standard General Ledger workspace
- Support for multiple ER format mappings in parallel (e.g., bank feeds, payroll exports, intercompany transactions)
- Platform-compatibility updates
What is not included — and intentionally so: The ER format mappings that define your specific source file structure are not part of the license. These are built together with your team during a short implementation engagement. This keeps the license cost low and the implementation scoped to exactly what you need — no bloated default mappings you won't use.
