RSA® Authentication Manager is the on-premises solution behind ID Plus hybrid platform that verifies authentication requests and administers authentication policies for enterprise networks. RSA Authentication Manager can be used for the following:
- Management of the SecurID environment, which includes authentication methods, users, applications and agents across multiple physical sites. It verifies authentication requests and administers an organization’s authentication policies.
- For Hybrid deployments, an ID Plus Account is required. Connect RSA Authentication Manager to the RSA Cloud Authentication Service (CAS) and enable the secure proxy and High Availability failover service. Modern MFA authentication requests are proxied to the cloud service. If the cloud service becomes slow or unreachable, Authentication Manager will verify Authenticate (OTP) credential requests.
