Asterisk

Asterisk is an open-source telephony platform that offers a wide range of features for building telephony applications and systems. Developed by Digium, now a part of Sangoma Technologies, Asterisk is widely used for building PBX systems, VoIP gateways, conference servers, and more.

Features of Asterisk:

Asterisk Usage:

$ sudo su
$ cd /usr/src
$ cd asterisk-23.3.0
$ sudo systemctl enable asterisk
$ sudo systemctl start asterisk
$ asterisk -V
