The software allows the secure use of cloud storage services without interrupting your usual workflow. Boxcryptor encrypts your files client-side on zero knowledge basis, before they are synchronized to the Microsoft cloud. You can enjoy peace of mind, knowing that no one but you can view and access your data.
This is how it works: When uploading a file in the Boxcryptor app in Microsoft Teams, you can choose whether you want to encrypt it. If so, the file will be automatically encrypted in the background during the upload before it is stored in Microsoft Teams. You and team members authorized by you are the only ones who can access your information.
