AKS Secure Baseline Cluster secured by Palo Alto Networks Cloud NGFW
This offer implements Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Landing Zone Accelerator Secure Baseline reference architecture.
It prepares landing zone subscriptions for a scalable Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) cluster while following the architecture and best practices of the Cloud Adoption Framework
This solution deploys the necessary networking, security, identity, management, and monitoring components including the following:
- Cluster auto-scaler (2-5 nodes)
- Azure Monitor for Containers
- Cloud NGFW to secure outbound traffic (can be configured for East-West and Inbound inspection)
- Application Gateway Ingress Controller
- Azure Container Registry (private)
- Restrict dependencies with Private Link
- AAD Integration
- Audit restricted pod security standards
