MediaTek Neuropilot ML kits provides Converter, Quantization and Network Compression tool
NeuroPilot is MediaTek’s AI ecosystem. It embraces the advantages of ‘Edge AI’, which means the AI processing is done on-device rather than relying on a fast internet connection and cloud service.
This makes the AI work faster, while also keeping the information about how you use the device entirely private because it remains on the device.
NeuroPilot ML Kits provides tools to optimize the AI model for fitting Edge application.
The tools include converter which convert the AI model to Tensorflow Lite format, quantization tool which quantize FP32 to INT8 that can reduce the complexity with negligible accuracy loss, and pruning tool which remove unimportant weights and increase weight matrix sparsity with set accuracy drop target.
This VM is installed with NeuroPilot ML Kits for Edge Device AI model developer who is planned to optimize AI model running on MediaTek Platform.
