Description

Pathian’s GEES Utility Benchmarking API is an Azure-native analytics service that delivers accurate, real-time utility benchmarking and automated M&V using Pathian’s patented GEES Curve Engine and Syrx® Component Modeling system.
GEES provides per-meter benchmarking across HVAC systems, buildings, and utility meter data, enabling precise pre- and post-project evaluations for DSM, DR, CBI, and HBI programs. Utilities and public-sector operators use GEES to measure savings, verify performance, demonstrate regulatory compliance, and track persistence with highly repeatable accuracy.

The platform includes:

• GEES Curve Analytics

Generates instantaneous, weather-normalized performance baselines for any meter or building using patented GEES statistical methods.

• Automated M&V (Measurement & Verification)

Delivers real-time savings calculations, demand reduction quantification, and regulatory-grade reporting for DSM program filings.

• Syrx® Component Modeling

Provides universal point and equipment IDs for standardized reporting, peer benchmarking, and cross-building analytics.

• Azure-Native Metered Billing

Utilities pay only for the meters enrolled. Annual per-meter pricing includes transparent volume discounts according to utility size.
One-time implementation and optional DSM reporting modules are available through private offers.

Designed for utilities, public-sector energy teams, and OEM partners, GEES establishes a standardized, high-accuracy benchmarking foundation that improves DSM performance, enhances regulatory reporting, and supports at-scale delivery of incentive and behavior-based energy programs.

This offer supports utility meter benchmarking and regulatory analytics. Additional data sources ingested through the Secure Building Data Access Connector (e.g., equipment or BAS data) consume additional processing capacity.
