SKAND is a cloud-based, all-in-one platform that enables organisations to store, visualise, analyse, annotate, extract intelligence from, and share digital representations of physical assets in 3D. It supports uploading of a wide variety of data types — such as GIS/CAD formats (.dxf, .ifc, .kml, terrain, orthophotos), reality captures (3D meshes, OBJ files, point clouds, E57), and standard and panoramic images.
Users can mark up both high-resolution 2D imagery and 3D models using customizable annotation templates. These templates can include text fields, dates, attachments, images, dropdowns, links and more. This allows rich metadata capture tied directly to spatial features.
Granular access control is built in: you can manage permissions by project, by folder, by layer, by individual user or group. This means that different stakeholders (e.g. engineers, asset managers, external contractors) can have just the rights they need.
