Enables eSHARE users to securely send emails from Outlook and collaborate on file attachments/links
The eSHARE Secure Email Add-in allows users to secure email attachments via the creation of Trusted Shares. These shares enable senders and their clients, partners and suppliers to securely and productively collaborate on attached files and embedded file links. The add-in also allows the sender to customize their Trusted Shares, providing recipients with the desired rights to attached and linked files (e.g., download with a provided business justification).
The benefits to the user and organization include:
- Highly governed external file sharing via email when external file sharing from SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive using native M365 links is disallowed by an organization for compliance, security, and privacy reasons.
- Prevents the recipient file link blocking that may otherwise occur when files are shared natively from M365.
Provides a 100% customer-branded UX to recipients all the way down to the URL contained within links.
Applies much finer-grained file access and use controls than is possible with M365 natively (e.g. download only with a provided business justification).
To use this add-in the user must have an active eSHARE Collaborate subscription.
