Centrify 360 ETL for Dynamics 365 Business Central turns your Business Central data into an analytics-ready dataset for reporting. It standardizes data coming from one or more Business Central companies and prepares it for modern BI tools such as Power BI, helping you deliver consistent KPIs, dashboards, and self-service reporting without building and maintaining a custom data platform.
The solution follows a push-based pattern: the Centrify 360 Business Central connector, installed in your Business Central environment, selects and streams application data to Centrify 360. The managed ETL service then validates, transforms, and processes this incoming data and loads it into a structured PostgreSQL schema optimized for reporting and analytics. This separation keeps data ownership and extraction inside Business Central while offloading heavy transformation and modeling to a dedicated analytics tier.
When you deploy this offer, Centrify 360 provisions and configures the core analytics infrastructure in your Azure subscription, including:
- A managed ETL orchestrator running on Azure Container Apps to process incoming data from the Business Central connector.
- An Azure Database for PostgreSQL flexible server that stores the transformed, analytics-ready dataset.
- Azure Files storage for ETL configuration, snapshots, and intermediate artifacts.
- Integration with Azure Monitor / Log Analytics for health monitoring and diagnostics.
These resources are deployed into a resource group in your subscription so you retain control over data residency, networking, and security, while Centrify 360 provides the application logic, configuration guidance, and ongoing updates. You can then connect Centrify 360’s prebuilt Power BI content or your own reports to the PostgreSQL database to support scenarios such as financial reporting, multi-company consolidation, manufacturing and inventory analytics, sales performance, and executive dashboards.
The Centrify 360 Business Central connector app and Power BI reports are offered separately and can be enabled following the product documentation, allowing you to roll out the complete analytics stack at your own pace.
