Guest Management for Microsoft 365 helps you stay in control of external guest accounts in Microsoft 365 — directly where collaboration happens: in Microsoft Teams.

The agent improves data quality in Microsoft Entra ID by ensuring every guest has complete and accurate information, including a responsible owner/sponsor, contact details, company name, and a defined expiration. If required information is missing, the agent automatically pings the responsible owner/sponsor in Teams to complete it. If the data isn’t provided within the configured deadline (e.g. 72 hours), access is automatically revoked and the guest account is removed—so external permissions don’t linger longer than necessary.

At the same time, it keeps things frictionless for the business: employees can invite guests directly in Teams (no separate portal), and the agent guides and validates the inputs—even with misspellings and multiple languages. The result is stronger governance, less manual follow-up, and safer external collaboration without added complexity.

This agent requires Global Administrator permissions during the initial onboarding. The Config.Admin role on the Enterprise Application in Entra ID is required to change tenant-wide settings and complete onboarding.
