Briefli Sidekick embeds an AI-powered assistant directly into Outlook, enabling warehouse and logistics teams to understand, respond, and take action on operational emails using system context—without leaving their inbox.

Briefli Sidekick helps logistics and operations teams work directly from their inbox. It combines three capabilities in one sidebar. Sidekick – Understands emails, summarizes threads, and extracts structured logistics data (SKUs, quantities, dates, reference numbers) from the message and supported text-based attachments.

Extensiv Actions

Lets users create and update Extensiv (3PL Central) orders, receipts, and POs, and trigger standard reports from the email they are viewing.

SOP Agent: Applies your internal SOPs to a specific email to recommend responses, triage paths, and chargeable/non‑chargeable decisions.

AI behavior and human review

All actions are human-in-the-loop. The add-in never auto-sends emails or writes to Extensiv without user confirmation.

AI outputs may contain errors; users are responsible for reviewing data, recommendations, and suggested responses before applying or sending.

Primary users:

Logistics managers, warehouse coordinators, CSRs, and billing and customer service teams who handle logistics-heavy, high-volume email.

Briefli Sidekick's account creation, billing, Extensiv credential handling and admin are handled in the Briefli web app https://chat.briefli.ai, not inside Outlook.

Account and integration dependencies

Requires an active Briefli account.

Extensiv Actions require:

A valid Extensiv (3PL Central) account and API credentials configured in Briefli.

Appropriate Extensiv permissions to create/update orders, receipts, POs, and run reports.
