Microsoft 365 Tenant Assessment

Coretek will conduct a Microsoft 365 Tenant Assessment, resulting in the following services, deliverables, and outcomes:

Gain a better understanding of the client's tenant’s overall security posture and tenant configurations, and receive expert guidance and recommendations on how to align their Microsoft 365 tenant with industry best practices.

Microsoft 365 Tenant Assessment Assess Tenant and Document Initial Findings Coretek will conduct an end-to-end review of the Client's Microsoft 365 tenant, focusing on security, adoption, and usage. Areas we assess include:

1. Security and Configurations

• Tenant Licensing/Subscriptions – Review licensing and subscriptions, and how licenses are assigned and managed.​
• Tenant Configuration - Organizational Settings, Organizational Profile, etc.​
• Entra ID – Identity management/governance, roles, MFA, Conditional Access, etc​
• Exchange – Settings, mail flow, sharing, forwarding, SPF/DKIM/DMARC​
• SharePoint and OneDrive – Settings, Sharing/Access Control Policies, Storage, Active Sites​
• Microsoft Teams – Teams settings/policies, guest/external access, audio conferencing/voice setup
• Microsoft 365 Defender – Settings, reports, Secure Score, Endpoint/ATP, Email, and Collaboration Policies/Rules​
• Microsoft 365 Purview - Compliance Manager/Compliance Score, Data Classification, Auditing,
• Data Lifecycle Management, Information Protection​
• Intune – Endpoint Management (MDM) – Devices, Compliance/Configuration Policies and Profiles
• Intune, Tenant Administration Configuration​
• Copilot for Microsoft 365: (only if Copilot licensing exists in the tenant) high-level discovery
• Copilot for Microsoft 365: review existing Copilot configurations for Microsoft 365 and Microsoft 365 Apps.

2. Adoption and Usage

• Microsoft 365 Admin Center Reports – Adoption Score and Microsoft 365 Usage Analytics –
• Microsoft 365: Get insights into user behavior over time and compare adoption metrics to similar organizations.​
• SharePoint - Usage/Activity Review, Page Performance/Diagnostics of key business sites​
• Microsoft Teams – Usage reports, orphaned Teams, inactive Teams​
• Microsoft 365 Defender – View information about security trends and protection status of your identities,
• Microsoft 365 Defender - data, devices, apps, and infrastructure protection status.​
• Microsoft 365 Purview – View statuses and trends for the compliance of devices, data, identities, apps, and infrastructure.​
• Endpoint Management/Intune – Monitor endpoint compliance, health, and trends in your organization.

Deliver Recommendations and Guidance

After the initial assessment is complete, Coretek will deliver:

• Key Findings and Recommendations (2-hour presentation) -
• Prioritize Coretek findings and recommendations into Critical, Important, and General categories.​
• Detailed Findings and Recommendations Deliverable – A document that contains our detailed findings
