Incident Lake is an AI incident commander that centralizes incident-related communication in Microsoft Teams and supports faster, better-informed decision-making during incident response.

WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH THE INCIDENT LAKE BOT

- Start a new incident directly from any channel thread using the "go" command

- Link a Teams thread to an incident that is already being tracked using the "link" command

- Backfill messages that were posted before the bot joined the thread using the "fill" command

- Ask AI about the incident being discussed in a channel thread using the "ask" command (e.g. "ask what is happening right now?")

- View available commands at any time with the "help" command

HOW IT WORKS

Once a thread is linked, Incident Lake captures the discussion in real time, builds a structured incident timeline, and keeps severity and status up to date, so responders can focus on resolution instead of documentation.

AI FUNCTIONALITY

Incident Lake uses AI in two places. Within Microsoft Teams, the "ask" bot command provides AI-generated answers about the incident discussed in a channel thread. In the Incident Lake web platform (accessed at https://incidentlake.com), AI helps classify incident severity, detect response times, and draft post-incident reports from the recorded timeline. AI-generated content should be reviewed by users before acting on it.
