AlmaLinux 9.2 strengthens the hybrid cloud foundation by accelerating the delivery of workloads, applications, and services across diverse environments with reduced operational effort. This release introduces important security updates, improved application streams, and enhanced system management capabilities.

Security improvements include the introduction of the realmd system role, a SCAP profile, and updated Ansible content to streamline security configuration and compliance checks. Application streams are enhanced with updated compilers, runtime languages, databases, and web server components.

The web-based management console receives enhancements along with new system roles to simplify automation and standardization across environments. For containerized workloads, AlmaLinux 9.2 introduces new capabilities that make developing and managing containers easier and more efficient.
