This 3-day workshop is designed to help courts and justice organizations understand how to modernize their existing case management environment using the OCourts cloud-based solution.
This 3-day workshop is designed to help courts and justice organizations evaluate, plan, and begin their modernization journey using the OCourt platform powered by Microsoft Azure. The primary goal is to provide a structured, hands-on engagement where stakeholders can assess current legacy systems, identify operational gaps, and understand how a secure, cloud-based overlay solution can enhance existing Court Management Systems without requiring a full replacement.
During the workshop, our experts work closely with court administrators, IT teams, and decision-makers to review current workflows, document management practices, scheduling processes, payment integrations, and public access capabilities. Based on this assessment, we demonstrate how OCourt modules—such as e-Docs, ScheduleR, CollectR, VRV, OSummons, Lobby Display, and Public Access features—can be deployed to improve efficiency, reduce manual processes, and enhance service delivery. These capabilities help courts transition from paper-heavy and fragmented systems to a streamlined, digital-first environment that supports remote access, automation, and improved data accuracy.
The workshop also includes detailed sessions on how Microsoft Azure enables the foundation for this modernization. Participants will learn how Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, and secure cloud infrastructure support scalable, compliant, and highly available court solutions. The engagement covers Azure best practices for data security, identity management, system integration, and performance optimization, ensuring the solution aligns with government-grade standards for reliability and protection of sensitive information.
Over the three days, the team will:
Assess the current technology landscape and pain points in existing court operations
Map business and technical requirements to OCourt capabilities
Demonstrate how Azure-hosted components enable secure, scalable, and integrated service delivery
Identify integration points with existing CMS platforms and judicial information systems
Define a high-level modernization roadmap and next steps for implementation
By the end of the workshop, customers will have a clear understanding of how to leverage Microsoft Azure and OCourt together to modernize court operations, improve accessibility for the public, automate key workflows, and create a future-ready digital foundation without disrupting their existing systems.
