It combines the content of the currently open Word document with structured data from Xpert Web to deliver precise,

context-aware assistance where legal work actually happens.

The AI chat continuously adapts to your document changes and can reference existing information such as documents,

services, appointments, and case-related data available in Xpert Web.

This enables accurate drafting, revision, and analysis based on your real working context.

Xpert Web integration enhances the assistant’s capabilities but is not required.

Xpert Word can be used independently and provides the same AI-driven document interaction for new users and existing

Xpert Web customers alike.

Enterprise availability and account requirements

Xpert for Word is an enterprise add-in for professional legal work environments.

The add-in can be installed from the marketplace at no cost, but productive use requires a

valid contract with our company and an appropriate license, as well as a properly

configured enterprise tenant environment.

The solution is intended for law firms and legal organizations. In typical deployments,

the add-in is centrally provisioned by the organization’s Microsoft 365 administrator after a contract

has been concluded and licensing has been activated. Individual private users without a contractual

agreement and license cannot use the add-in’s functionality.

Access is restricted to correctly configured and authorized customer tenants. Without a valid contractual

basis and active license, add-in features remain disabled.
