Quick verify — Highlight a claim and check it against published scientific literature. Get a verdict with supporting passages and

citations.

Saved references — Verify a claim against a specific PDF you've uploaded to your RefCheckr library, with passage-level citations

showing the page and paragraph. Filter your library by project when picking a reference.

PubMed search — Search PubMed directly from the sidebar. Select text in your document and find relevant articles, with links to view

them on PubMed.

Verdicts tuned for medical writing: Strong Support, Partial Support, Implied by Data, Not Supported, Contradicted, and Overclaim —

with suggested revisions where an overclaim or partial support is detected.

How it works:

1. Highlight a claim in your Word document.
2. Click Get Selection from Document in the RefCheckr task pane.
3. Choose Quick verify for literature-backed evidence, or Saved references to verify against a specific PDF from your library.
4. Click Verify claim to see the verdict, supporting passages, and any suggested revisions.
