NetSuite Connector for Outlook is a productivity-enhancing Microsoft Outlook add-in that enables users to synchronize email and calendar data from Outlook to NetSuite. Built for sales, service, and operations professionals who work extensively with Outlook, this connector streamlines the process of associating customer communications and calendar activities with CRM and ERP records in NetSuite.
Designed to reduce context switching and improve data quality, use Outlook Connector to initiate syncs directly from Outlook. You can manually select relevant email messages or events, find a matching record in NetSuite or create a new one, and decide which attachments to include—all through an intuitive side panel interface.
Key capabilities include:
- Manual syncing of emails and calendar events: Users can manually select Outlook emails or calendar events and sync them to relevant NetSuite records. Each sync includes message content, metadata, and optional attachments.
- Record Matching: The connector intelligently scans the email fields (To, From, CC) to identify and suggest matching NetSuite records, such as Customers, Contacts, Leads, Prospects, or Opportunities. Users can filter results or search manually to fine-tune matches.
- Multi-Record Linking: Emails or events can be synced to multiple NetSuite records in one action.
- Customizable record field views and preferences: Users can configure which fields are visible or editable when users create or update NetSuite records.
- In-panel record creation and editing: When no match is found, users can quickly create new NetSuite records from within the Outlook add-in. Existing records can also be viewed or updated without leaving Outlook.
- Attachment Sync Control: Users can choose which attachments to include in a sync. Inline images and standard attachments are supported, offering flexibility in handling files shared during communications.
Outlook Connector provides a seamless bridge between your inbox and your CRM/ERP system, ensuring user-controlled, accurate data capture every time.
Your use of the NetSuite Outlook Connector will be governed by the Oracle NetSuite Subscription Services Agreement and the NetSuite Cloud Services Descriptions available at https://www.oracle.com/se/corporate/contracts/cloud-services/netsuite/, unless you have already agreed to terms with Oracle which are referenced in your order.
