Linear Schedule by Tomok AI

Turn Primavera P6 schedules into printable time–distance charts for infrastructure projects.
See where and when your work happens. Linear Schedule by Tomok AI turns Primavera P6 schedule data into a linear (time–distance) chart, right inside Excel — no separate scheduling software to buy or learn.
Gantt charts tell you when an activity runs. For roads, railways, tunnels, pipelines, and transmission lines, you also need to know where along the alignment. A linear schedule (also called a time-location, time–distance, or time-chainage chart) plots both at once, making conflicts, work fronts, and crew movement obvious at a glance.
What it does
- Imports CPM schedule data exported from Primavera P6 — paste from the grid, upload a CSV/TXT file, or use a selection already in your sheet.
- Cleans and normalizes the data automatically (dates, durations, grouping rows) into a tidy, reusable Excel table.
- Draws a print-ready linear-schedule frame: an engineering-stationing location axis with gridlines, a configurable two-level time header (e.g. Year over Quarter), and your own site plan or profile image aligned to the alignment.
- Auto-fits the whole chart to a single A4 page, ready to print or share.
Coming soon: automatic plotting of each P6 activity as a bar on the chart, straight from your imported dates — turning the frame into a fully drawn linear schedule.
Who it's for
Planners, schedulers, and project-controls teams in heavy civil and linear infrastructure — highway and road construction, rail and transit, tunnelling, pipelines, and utilities — who already build CPM schedules in Primavera P6 and need to communicate them spatially to engineers, clients, and field crews.
Why teams use it
- Works directly from the P6 exports you already produce.
- Lives in Excel — easy to share, edit, and print with no new platform.
- Produces clean, one-page charts suitable for reports, progress meetings, and tender submissions.
