Intento Language Hub for SharePoint

Real-time translation for Microsoft SharePoint pages, so employees, frontline staff, and other people in your organization who use SharePoint can use the same intranet in their own language while your communications, HR, and IT departments stay in control of languages, quality, and compliance. This solution is designed for enterprises using SharePoint for internal communications, HR content, policies, and knowledge sharing.

Intento Language Hub for SharePoint makes your Microsoft SharePoint intranet multilingual. Employees see the same news, HR updates, policies, and knowledge articles in their own language without leaving SharePoint.

When your employee opens a SharePoint page and picks a language, the app securely sends the text to Intento Language Hub, translates it to match your requirements, and shows the result on the same page. You still create and update content in SharePoint; Intento only adds translation.

Intento uses multiple machine translation (MT) engines, generative AI providers, and AI Agents as building blocks for its AI translation workflows. These workflows follow your business and language requirements, such as terminology, tone of voice, style, and compliance. You can reuse the same workflows for other tools you connect to the Language Hub, so you define your translation rules once and use them across systems.

You keep one version of each page instead of building separate sites for each language. This reduces manual work, avoids "copy–paste" errors, and keeps navigation and permissions simple.

You define translation requirements and can update them over time, for example:

• Languages and locales – such as French (Canada) vs French (France).

• General translation quality – how strict you are about accuracy, fluency, grammar, and overall error tolerance.

• Terminology and brand voice – how closely translations must follow approved terms, product names, and tone of voice.

• Formatting and fidelity – how precisely layouts, numbers, dates, and units must be preserved.

• Compliance and data handling – which providers may be used, in which regions, and with what retention rules.
