What is ExForms?
Excel is no longer a data dead end.
Data flows into Excel from everywhere—Power Query, VBA, ODBC, APIs, CSV files, databases—but then what? It gets stuck. Copied and pasted. Manually re-entered into other systems.
ExForms changes that. It transforms Excel into a universal data hub where data flows in and flows out. 📄 Document Generation
- PDF Forms – Fill AcroForms and complex XFA forms (LiveCycle Designer). Map Excel columns to PDF fields, generate thousands of filled forms in minutes.
- HTML Forms – Most flexible way to generate dynamic filled forms, in both HTML and PDF formats, with conditional rules adjusting specific sections, HTML AI assistant dedicated to help you build HTML forms in natural language, no HTML skills needed!
- Word Documents – Use Content Controls as placeholders. Insert text, tables, and Excel charts as images.

🔐 Enterprise-Grade Security
Your data protection is our top priority. ExForms uses a Zero Trust Architecture with multiple layers of security:
Template & Data Encryption
- AES-256 Encryption – Every uploaded template is encrypted with a unique Data Encryption Key (DEK)
- Envelope Encryption – DEKs are wrapped with a Key Encryption Key (KEK) stored in Azure Key Vault HSM
- Protection for Accidental Uploads – If you accidentally upload a template containing sensitive test data, it's encrypted at rest
- In-Memory Processing – Decrypted data is processed in RAM only, never written to disk
Credential Security (Connectors)
- Azure Key Vault Storage – Database passwords, OAuth tokens, and API keys are stored in HSM-backed Azure Key Vault
- Runtime Injection – Connectors never store credentials. We inject secrets at runtime and discard after use
- Team Sharing – One admin configures a connector; all authorized team members can use it without seeing credentials
- Just-In-Time Access – Credentials retrieved fresh for each operation, never cached
Data Lifecycle
- Immediate Deletion – Generated files are deleted the moment your download completes
- No Data Persistence – Your Excel data is processed and discarded, never stored on our servers
- Audit Logging – All credential access is logged and auditable
Infrastructure
- TLS 1.2+ Everywhere – All data encrypted in transit
- Isolated Docker Containers – Network isolation, no external database exposure
- Azure Key Vault – independently certified to SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and PCI DSS standards (these certifications are held by Microsoft Azure, not by ExForms)

ExForms offers Anonymous, Free, Basic, Pro, and Business options. You can start with no sign-in or a Free account, then upgrade as your needs grow for higher form volume, more users, more data connections, REST API access, and stronger support coverage.

- Basic and Pro unlock higher production limits, more connectors, team workflows, and advanced automation
- Business is for high-volume organizations that need custom scale and commercial terms

Add-on Packs
Free or paid plans can be extended with Add-on Packs. Packs let you grow a specific usage area without changing your whole subscription.
Current add-on pack areas include document-generation capacity, connector slots, connector data transfer, and AI tokens for HTML form design, PDF mapping, and guidance.

API access is handled separately from those usage packs. It can come from an eligible plan or from a separate API access add-on entitlement when API access is not already active for the company.

- Try Free – Use Anonymous mode (no sign-in) or create a Free account
- Upload Templates – Upload your PDF forms, Word documents, or PowerPoint files
- Map Fields – Connect template placeholders to Excel Named Ranges or Tables
- Generate – Click "Send Data" to create filled documents or sync to connectors
- Upgrade – Subscribe to a paid plan for more forms, users, and features
