Fax.Plus for Microsoft Teams brings real-time fax notifications into your Teams workspace, so that you can track inbound and outbound faxes without switching tools. Fax.Plus is a HIPAA-compliant online fax service used by enterprises and regulated industries to send and receive faxes securely.

What this integration does inside Microsoft Teams

• Posts a notification in a Teams channel, group chat, or personal chat the moment a fax is received.
• Posts a delivery status notification when a fax you sent is delivered, or fails.
• Includes the sender or recipient number, the status, and a link to open the fax in Fax.Plus, with the option to attach the fax document to the notification directly.

Requirements and limitations

• An active Fax.Plus Business or Enterprise subscription is required.
• Sending and composing faxes is not performed inside Microsoft Teams. Faxes are sent and managed in the Fax.Plus web, desktop, or mobile applications; this integration surfaces notifications and delivery status for those faxes inside Microsoft Teams.
• If your organization restricts third-party apps, an IT administrator must approve Fax.Plus in the Microsoft Teams admin center before users can install it.
