  1. Connect to Tableau- Add your Tableau Server credentials once inside BIChart. A Personal Access Token is stored securely in AWS Secrets Manager; no passwords are
  2. Scan workbooks and Connections - BIChart's worker enumerates every workbook on your Tableau site across multiple Tableau APIs. For each workbook, it downloads the underlying .twb XML definition and parses it for unsupported features across six categories:
    • visual types
    • analytics
    • interactivity
    • actions
    • dashboard objects
    • data layer (LOD expressions, custom SQL, user filters)
  3. Score Compatibility- Each workbook receives a 0–100 compatibility score. Scores are colour-coded across reports.
