IntelligenceBank Data Manager

The IntelligenceBank Data Manager for Excel turns your spreadsheet into a high-volume metadata editor for the IntelligenceBank Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform. Pull hundreds or thousands of Resources into a worksheet, edit metadata in familiar Excel cells, validate every change against your DAM's rules, and push the edits back in batched, streamed updates — all without leaving Excel.

What you can do

• Bulk retrieve — query your IntelligenceBank library with full search parameters, filters, and pagination, and pull matching resources into an Excel table with both standard and custom fields included as columns.
• Bulk update — edit metadata directly in spreadsheet cells. The add-in tracks every modified cell and sends only the changed values back to IntelligenceBank in concurrent batches, with automatic rate-limit retry.
• Field validation — run your DAM's required-field, length, format, and pattern rules across the entire sheet before submitting, with row-level error reporting so you can fix issues in place.
• Native row deletion — remove rows directly in Excel using the standard right-click delete. The add-in reconciles its change tracker against the current sheet and silently skips deleted resources on the next Update or Validate run.
• Auto-tagging and Face-tagging — trigger IntelligenceBank's AMA auto-tagging and face-tagging as part of any update batch.
• Custom field support — full coverage of IntelligenceBank custom field types: text, textarea, number, email, currency, URL, date, select, multi-select, radio, checkbox, and phone.
• Tenant branding — your IntelligenceBank tenant's logo and colours flow through the add-in UI automatically once you sign in, so the experience matches the rest of your IntelligenceBank workspace.

How sign-in works

Enter your IntelligenceBank platform URL and the add-in opens your tenant's standard sign-in page in your browser. Single sign-on (SSO) flows are honoured automatically — no separate password is collected or stored by the add-in. Once you sign in, the add-in establishes a session against your IntelligenceBank tenant and is ready to use.

Requirements

An IntelligenceBank account with permission to view and edit resources in your tenant. Excel 2016 or later on Windows, Excel for Mac, or Excel on the web.
