Architecture:

SyncSignature uses two components for Microsoft 365:

Microsoft Graph API reads employee data from Entra ID with read-only permissions (User.Read.All, Group.Read.All, Directory.Read.All). SyncSignature never writes to your directory.

A lightweight Outlook add-in deployed through Microsoft 365 Centralized Deployment renders signatures in Outlook Web, Outlook Desktop, and Outlook Mobile. Deployment is admin-controlled with no end-user action required.

Both components work together: the Graph API provides the employee data, the add-in applies the signature. No mail flow rules, no transport rules, no MX record changes.

Privacy and security:
