Second Opinion
por Marney Edwards
Just a moment, logging you in...
Get behavioral insights from workplace conversations with Second Opinion's transcript analysis.
Why Second Opinion exists
The habit I built over the years: when a workplace conversation really mattered, I'd ask a trusted coworker for their read on it. Not "what should I do." Not "was I right." Just their honest take on what they'd noticed, the things I was too close to the conversation to see for myself. A second opinion. Sometimes it confirmed what I was already thinking. Sometimes it pointed out something I'd missed entirely. Either way, I walked away from the conversation with more clarity than I went in with.
That's what Second Opinion does. On demand. Every time.
How it works
You upload a transcript, a 1:1, a sales call, a customer conversation, an operations review, anything where people talked and someone recorded it. Second Opinion analyzes the language patterns and returns a short, readable report on the person whose words you're looking at. Under the hood: a 16,000+ word lexicon weighs each word into 33 behavioral dimensions, which then map to the Big Five personality model, one of the most studied frameworks in behavioral science.
- Upload a transcript file (.txt, .docx, .pdf, or Teams .vtt)
- Tell Second Opinion who the conversation is about
- Add a little context if you have it
- Second Opinion returns a key finding and a behavioral read
Not a recommendation. Not a score. An opinion. Second Opinion's job is to challenge your assumptions and confirm your opinions, not to make decisions for you.
Where it's helpful
Any time you walk out of a conversation and think I wish I had a second set of eyes on that.
- A sales leader reviewing a call that didn't close the way they expected
- A manager preparing for, or reflecting on, a hard 1:1
- A customer success lead debriefing a difficult escalation
- An operations leader reviewing a contentious meeting
- A recruiter reviewing an interview transcript as one input among many
If you've ever wished for a trusted coworker in the room, Second Opinion is for you.
Where it should not be used
Second Opinion is one input among many. It should never be the sole basis for an employment, performance, or disciplinary decision. It is not a clinical assessment. It does not diagnose mental health conditions. It does not predict future behavior.
The decision always stays with you, and with the humans in your process.
What stays private
- Your data stays inside your Microsoft tenant. Second Opinion runs entirely on Azure. Nothing is sent to third-party LLMs over the internet.
- Personally identifiable information is stripped from the transcript before analysis using Azure AI Language.
- Transcripts and reports are subject to your organization's configured retention period.
Pricing
- Pay-as-you-go at $0.0005 per word analyzed, billed through Microsoft Marketplace.
- Your first 5 sessions are free.
- A typical 30-minute meeting transcript runs about 4,500 words, roughly $2.25.
