MEAN Stack on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS | Support by cloudimg
A production-grade MEAN stack image for Microsoft Azure: MongoDB 8.0 Community with authentication enabled, Node.js 22 LTS from NodeSource, Express 5 serving a pre-built Angular 20 single-page application, and the mongo-express admin web UI on port 8081 protected by HTTP basic auth. The mean-firstboot.service rotates the application Mongo password and the admin UI password to per-VM strong values on first boot and writes them to /stage/scripts/mean-credentials.log (mode 0600 root-only). Customers can drop in their own SPA at /opt/mean/public/ and replace the Express server in /opt/mean/server.js. Angular CLI 20, Node 22, and npm 10 are global on the image so customers can scaffold and build directly on the VM. All package versions are pinned via apt-mark hold to prevent accidental major-version drift. Pricing covers packaging, security patching, and 24/7 expert support.
