Security and control:
  • Behind-firewall agent — Outbound-only connections to SQL Server, Azure SQL, or Managed Instance. No inbound ports, no public exposure.
  • Static IPs to whitelist — Each region runs through a dedicated NAT gateway with a fixed IP for precise allow-listing.
  • Customer-owned credentials — App registration in your own Entra tenant for Dataverse and Business Central, or a Connected App for Salesforce. You create, scope, and revoke.
  • Flexible target authentication — Microsoft Entra or SQL Server Authentication, both first-class.
