Graph database explorer by gdotv
por gdotv Ltd
Query, visualize and explore Apache AGE, CosmosDB, Neo4j and over 30 more graph databases.
Intended Audience
gdotv is built for graph database developers, data engineers, and data analysts who work with graph databases on a daily basis. Whether you are querying, exploring, modelling, or reporting on graph data, gdotv centralises every aspect of your workflow into a single, consistent interface.
What gdotv Does
gdotv is a full-featured graph database management and development application. It connects to multiple graph databases simultaneously, letting teams manage all their graph data sources from one place without switching between tools.
gdotv natively supports Azure Cosmos DB for Apache Gremlin and Apache AGE on Azure Database for PostgreSQL, as well as a broad range of other graph database technologies including those supporting Cypher, SPARQL, GQL, SQL:2023, and additional query languages. New database integrations are added regularly.
Key Capabilities
- Advanced query editor — syntax validation, schema-aware autocomplete, code formatting, integrated language documentation, natural-language query generation, step-by-step query debugging, and one-click query profiling.
- Graph visualisation engine — renders tens of thousands of nodes and edges with configurable layouts, and supports direct in-canvas editing of vertices, edges, and properties.
- Data Model Explorer — automatically detects and displays your graph schema as an entity-relationship diagram, helping teams collaborate around a shared understanding of their data model.
- No-code data explorer and report builder — parameterised reports and guided data access for non-technical users, without requiring query language knowledge.
- Flexible result views — query results viewable as interactive graphs, tables, or raw JSON, with export options for use in external tools.
- Graph Business Intelligence — create and deploy interactive dashboards of your graph data with a wide range of data visualization options, parameters and filters.
Prerequisites and Requirements
gdotv is deployed on Kubernetes and requires an active graph database endpoint accessible from the cluster.
- To use the Azure Cosmos DB for Apache Gremlin integration, an Azure Cosmos DB account with the Gremlin API enabled is required.
- To use the Apache AGE integration, an Azure Database for PostgreSQL Flexible Server instance with the Apache AGE extension installed is required.
Limitations
gdotv is a data analysis and development tool; it does not provide a hosted graph database. Database infrastructure must be provisioned and managed separately. Query execution performance is dependent on the underlying database and network configuration.
