CMF – Compressible Multiphase Flow Simulations on GPUs
by Empirisch Tech GmbH
Run MFC multiphase flow simulations on NVIDIA A100/H100 GPUs in your own Azure subscription.
CMF turns MFC, the open-source, GPU-accelerated solver for compressible multiphase and multicomponent flows, into a ready-to-use web application on a GPU virtual machine in your own Azure subscription. Your engineers set up, run and evaluate simulations in the browser, without building a cluster, installing compilers or moving data out of your tenant.
Who it is for
Engineers and researchers who simulate shock waves, bubbles, droplets, cavitation, high-speed jets, underwater explosions or interfacial instabilities, in aerospace, defense, energy, marine, process and biomedical engineering, and in universities. IT teams get one self-contained deployment that they control.
Simulate
Optional AI Copilot
Connect your own model (OpenAI-compatible APIs including Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini or Anthropic) to get answers about MFC, generate and review cases, and analyze failed runs. Generated cases are checked with MFC's validator before you run them. Without a key these features are off, and simulations never depend on them.

Supported VM sizes
Pricing and requirements
An hourly software fee per VM hour, shown before you deploy, plus the Azure resources you use (VM, disks, public IP address, optional storage). Stop (deallocate) the VM when it is idle: software and compute charges pause, disks remain billed. You need quota for the chosen GPU size in your region. One simulation runs at a time and uses the GPUs you select.
