Chroma is a lightweight, open-source vector database designed for storing, indexing, and retrieving embeddings for AI and large language model (LLM) applications.

Chroma Version Check:

$ sudo su
$ cd /opt
$ source chroma-env/bin/activate
$ chroma --version
$ python -c "import chromadb; print(chromadb.__version__)"
