How it works

1. Employee Enrollment — The employee submits a government-issued ID and a biometric sample during onboarding or any lifecycle event.

2. Orchestration — IdRamp manages the verification process across leading identity verification providers with no point-to-point integrations required.

3. Identity Verification — The provider validates the document, performs liveness detection, and matches the biometric. A unique identity value is returned.

4. Entra ID Binding — That identity value is written directly into the employee's Entra ID account record, creating a permanent anchor between the directory account and the verified human.

5. Verified Access — Any application connected to your Entra ID tenant can call for real-time biometric verification at any moment, at login, before a sensitive transaction, during a help desk interaction, or when an anomaly is detected.
