2. 02 · Week 1, Design. Produce the design specification (Databricks architecture, data model and integration points) and agree it with your team.
3. 03 · Week 2, Foundation. Stand up the Databricks foundation: workspaces, Unity Catalog, ingestion and security, ready for the build.
4. 04 · Weeks 2 to 3, Build. Build the pilot data solution on your data with ArchitectNow engineers, reviewed with your team as it takes shape.

How this uses Microsoft Azure

The pilot is built and deployed in your own Microsoft Azure environment.

Azure Databricks is the platform, with Azure data and integration services for ingestion from your source systems, Microsoft Entra ID for identity, Unity Catalog and Microsoft Purview for governance, and Azure DevOps or GitHub for the deployment pipeline. The Week 2 foundation step stands that Microsoft Azure footprint up: workspaces, Unity Catalog, ingestion and security.
