IdeaClouds is a collaborative decision-making platform for structured, group-based input and evaluation. Designed for Microsoft Teams, it brings structured group input directly into your meetings.

Unlike freeform whiteboards, IdeaClouds is a guided, phase-based workspace that helps groups reach better, more honest decisions together, without the steep learning curve that keeps non-technical participants silent. Every session deliberately separates three phases that most tools blur into one: contribution, evaluation, and discussion of results.

In the contribution phase, participants contribute in parallel on a shared digital workspace and cluster related items together. No one waits for a turn, no one dominates the room, and every voice shows up on equal footing. This is a deliberate design choice that makes the tool as welcoming for a junior engineer as for a C-level executive. The interface is intentionally minimal, so people with no prior whiteboarding experience join and contribute without training.

In the evaluation phase, participants rate and comment on the collected contributions independently and at their own pace. IdeaClouds then surfaces where the group genuinely agrees, and just as importantly, where it genuinely disagrees. Conflicts and divergent evaluations are made visible instead of being hidden behind averages, so the discussion phase becomes a focused conversation about the real points of tension rather than a rehash of points everyone already accepted.

Integrated with Microsoft Teams, sessions open directly as a tab inside a meeting, as a side panel during the call, or shared to the meeting stage so every participant sees and can work on the same live view. Sessions persist beyond the meeting, so the group can continue the evaluation asynchronously, revisit results, and export them as structured reports for follow-up, documentation, or sharing with stakeholders who weren't in the room.
