Cortex AI

Cortex AI is an enterprise-targeted Excel web add-in that helps authorized organizational users collect Natural Gas Logistics data from scheduling worksheets. It runs in the Excel task pane and is designed for Excel on the web scenarios where teams need a simple and secure way to work with workbook data and connect it to downstream enterprise services. Users can work with data from a table or named range, and the add-in stores document-specific settings such as the selected source and target Cortex endpoint in Office Document Settings so those values persist with the workbook. Cortex AI uses Microsoft Entra ID authentication and an Office dialog-based sign-in flow to securely acquire and reuse tokens for API requests. Access to Cortex services, user accounts, and Cortex endpoint configuration is provisioned by the customer organization or the Cortex AI publisher; self-service sign-up by individual users is not supported inside the add-in.
