Linte AI is an AI-powered assistant built directly into Microsoft Word to support the review, editing, and analysis of contracts and other legal documents.

Designed for legal professionals, in-house legal teams, compliance teams, and contract managers, Linte AI helps streamline document review and improve clarity, consistency, and risk awareness.

With Linte AI, you can:

• Ask questions about clauses, terms, and specific sections of the document, receiving clear explanations and contextual suggestions
• Request the AI to rewrite or adjust contract content based on your instructions (e.g., “make it more objective,” “reduce risk,” “make it more balanced,” “add safeguards,” or “improve the wording”)
• Generate alternative versions of specific clauses and compare different options
• Identify points of attention, ambiguities, and potential inconsistencies
• Create summaries and highlight key items for legal review

How to use:

1. Open a document in Microsoft Word
2. Open the Linte AI add-in in the side panel
3. Submit your request (e.g., “rewrite this clause to better protect the supplier” or “adjust the language to be more neutral and objective”)

Important information:

This add-in requires an active Linte account. Some features depend on a paid Linte AI subscription or license, which is purchased directly from Linte outside of the Microsoft Marketplace.
