ScreenSteps
by ScreenSteps, Inc.
Ensure your team follows the right process, at the right time, every time with the ScreenSteps.
ScreenSteps lets people search their company's knowledge base from Microsoft Teams, and request an article when it is not there yet.
Who it is for
Organizations that keep procedures in ScreenSteps and work in Microsoft Teams, including customer support, operations, HR, IT, and training teams.
What you can do in Microsoft Teams
- Search: Chat with the ScreenSteps bot, or @mention ScreenSteps in a channel or group chat, to search your knowledge base.
- Request an article: Submit a request for an article that is not in the knowledge base yet.
AI answers
When AI answers are turned on, ScreenSteps uses AI to write answers from the articles on your ScreenSteps site, with links to the articles it used. AI can make mistakes, so check important details in the linked articles. When AI answers are turned off, you get a list of matching articles.
Requirements
A ScreenSteps account on a plan that includes the Microsoft Teams integration is required. A ScreenSteps administrator must connect your Microsoft 365 tenant and choose a site in ScreenSteps settings before the app can return results. That setup happens in ScreenSteps, outside Microsoft Teams. Setup steps: https://help2.screensteps.com/a/2133782
Limitations
- Search and AI answers cover only the ScreenSteps site your administrator selected.
- Articles are created and edited in ScreenSteps, not in Microsoft Teams.
