Synthesia Notifications
durch Synthesia Limited
Receive Synthesia Notifications direct in Microsoft Teams
Synthesia Notifications delivers your Synthesia alerts straight to your personal chat in Microsoft Teams, so you never miss a roleplay or training assignment.
What it does
When something in Synthesia needs your attention — for example, when a roleplay is assigned to you — this app posts an Adaptive Card into your 1:1 “Synthesia” chat in Teams. Each card shows a short summary, a thumbnail, who assigned it, and a “Start roleplay” button that opens Synthesia so you can take action.
Key benefits
- Stay on top of assigned roleplays and training without leaving Teams.
- Act quickly from a clear notification card with a direct link to each task.
- Reduce reliance on email for time-sensitive learning reminders.
Who it is for
Employees and learners at organisations that use Synthesia for video training and roleplays, and who want those alerts delivered in Teams rather than only by email.
Notification-only
This is a one-way, notification-only bot. It only sends you notifications — it cannot receive or read anything you type and will not reply to messages. The app does not read, store, or access your Teams messages, files, or data.
Account dependency
This app requires a Synthesia account; it is only the delivery surface for notifications that Synthesia generates. To receive notifications: (1) your organisation must have a Synthesia account with the Teams integration connected by a Synthesia administrator, and (2) you must be a member of that Synthesia organisation. Installing this app on its own, without a connected Synthesia organisation, will not produce any notifications.
Anything you act on — such as starting a roleplay — happens in the Synthesia web app, which the card’s button links out to. Inside Teams, the app’s only function is to deliver these notification cards.
