ThePoint My Emails
durch ThePoint
ThePoint My Emails displays each user's most recent Outlook messages directly inside SharePoint.
ThePoint My Emails brings the signed-in user's Microsoft 365 inbox onto their SharePoint intranet, directly on the page. The most recent messages, unread badges, and quick triage without leaving the intranet - purpose-built to slot into a sidebar column.
Key features
- Reads the user's primary Exchange Online inbox via Microsoft Graph
- Configurable number of recent messages
- Unread count badge and high-importance flags
- Sender avatars with initials fallback; attachment indicators
- Preview text and relative timestamps
- One click to open a message or the full inbox in Outlook on the web
- Compact mode for narrow columns
- Site theme accent and font awareness (Fluent UI) or a custom accent colour
- Mobile-ready responsive design
Components included: this package contains a single SharePoint Framework (SPFx) client-side web part, provisioned with one capability - SharePoint Web Part. It does not include any Microsoft Teams components or app. The web part requests the Microsoft Graph Mail.Read permission to read the signed-in user's email so the list has data to display.
Licensing and limitations: a paid licence key is required for full functionality. The app runs in trial mode without a licence key - a licence banner is shown above the web part during the trial and is removed once a valid licence key, purchased from ThePoint, is entered.
