Scoot Engage for Outlook lets you add video meeting rooms directly to your Outlook calendar events.
Scoot Engage for Outlook brings Scoot's virtual meeting rooms directly into your Outlook calendar. Designed for organizers who run a lot of meetings, the add-in removes the back-and-forth of copying room URLs and invite text between apps — you stay in the appointment window and add everything in one place.
What you can do
- Browse the Scoot meeting rooms available to your account from inside any new or existing Outlook appointment.
- Insert the selected room's join link into the appointment's Location field with a single click, so attendees see the room URL where they expect it.
- Append a formatted room invite — including the join link and room details — to the appointment body, ready to send.
- Change your selection at any time; the previous room link and invite block are removed cleanly when you pick a different room.
- Sign in with the account provider your organization already uses: Google, Microsoft, or Apple. No separate Scoot password to manage.
Where it shows up
The add-in appears on the ribbon in the Outlook appointment composer (both new appointments and edits to existing ones) on desktop Outlook. Open the task pane, choose a room, and the appointment is updated in place.

Requirements
- A Scoot Engage account at your organization.
- Outlook on the web, Outlook for Windows, or Outlook for Mac (Mailbox requirement set 1.3 or later).
- Internet access to authenticate with your identity provider and fetch the room list.
Privacy and data
Scoot Engage for Outlook uses your Scoot account to read the list of rooms available to you and to insert room details into the appointment you are editing. It does not read your mailbox, your calendar history, or attendee information.
Sign-in is handled through your chosen identity provider (Google, Microsoft, or Apple); the add-in does not store your provider password.
Get started by installing the add-in, opening any appointment, and signing in to your Scoot account from the task pane.
