BlazeSQL brings your SQL data analyst into Microsoft Teams so users can ask business questions in natural language and get answers without leaving Teams. Users can chat with BlazeSQL in a personal chat, or ask questions in group chats and team channels by @mentioning the app. BlazeSQL uses your connected BlazeSQL workspace and database context to generate answers, and responses may also include the SQL used to answer the question.
Current limitations: in group chats and team channels, BlazeSQL only responds when it is directly @mentioned. A BlazeSQL workspace must first be connected to Microsoft Teams by a workspace admin before other users in that workspace can use the app. Depending on your Microsoft 365 tenant settings, admin approval may also be required for the Microsoft permissions used during setup.
To use BlazeSQL, you need an active BlazeSQL account and access to a BlazeSQL workspace with a connected database. If your workspace has not been connected to Microsoft Teams yet, ask your BlazeSQL workspace admin to complete the connection setup first.
