Zentrix Network Graph

A network graph that stays put.

Most force-directed graphs re-solve their layout on every refresh, so the picture you arranged yesterday is gone this morning. Zentrix Network Graph seeds positions from the data itself, not a random number, so the same data always lands in the same place.

Bind Source and Target to draw the network. Edge weight, category, size, parent, image, icon, latitude/longitude and time are all optional. Self-loops, parallel edges and disconnected pieces render as first-class, never as errors. Everything runs inside the Power BI sandbox: no network calls, no external data, no telemetry.

Licensing

• Power BI Desktop: free, every feature unlocked. No cap, no watermark, no time limit.
• Power BI Service: everyone who opens the report needs a licence. First month free. Unlicensed editors get the free tier below; unlicensed readers see the visual blocked.
• One paid tier, bought per user (1 to 500) or company-wide (501+). Both unlock everything. Prices are on Plans + Pricing.
• Report Server, Publish to web and embedded use are licensed directly with Zentrix Studio.

Free tier

• Force, concentric, circular, grid and tree / org-chart layouts.
• Node images, shapes, one icon or fill pattern for all nodes, every palette, and single, category, value or hierarchy-level colouring.
• Cross-filter, multi-select, neighbourhood hover, tooltips, labels, legend, node search and a table view.
• Top / Bottom-N filter, keyboard navigation, colourblind-safe palette, high-contrast support.
• Up to 500 nodes / 2,000 edges.

Paid: everything free, plus

• No node or edge cap. A canvas renderer and minimap for large graphs, with an honest "showing N of M" note instead of freezing.
• Pin the layout so it never re-solves.
• Degree, betweenness, closeness and PageRank to size, colour and rank nodes.
• Louvain communities with hulls and collapse-to-meta-node, component colouring, a gradient builder and colour rules.
• A plain-English insight read-out: hubs, bridges, isolated pieces, fragmentation. Computed in the sandbox, no AI.
• Hop-by-hop exploration, shortest path, drill-down, expand / collapse and a node detail panel.
• Icons by type or level, patterns per level, edge flow animation, in-node labels and label backgrounds.
