Conversely, when companies try to optimize vehicle loading, they may underestimate the number of vehicles required. This can lead to shipment delays, negatively impacting delivery timelines and potentially harming the company’s reputation.

The Solution

[ICS] Vehicle Loading Solution addresses the challenge of loading cargo vehicles with containers/pallets in the most optimal way while also complying with various constraints that may exist (e.g., specific procedures for unloading customer orders, the distribution of cargo in a vehicle, etc.).

To achieve this, different loading strategies are created in the system using a combination of various mathematical methods for loading and a list of configurable loading constraints, both of which are continuously updated by our team. Users can test multiple strategies and select the most suitable one for their needs.

Additionally, 3D visualization of the vehicle loading queue was also implemented for more convenient loading queue management.

Key Features

• Vehicles: Maintain detailed data about vehicles, including their capacity (weight, volume, and dimensions).
• Loading queue: Automatically generate an optimized loading sequence. Containers/pallets are loaded in reverse delivery order, meaning the last customer on the route is loaded first, so drivers can unload efficiently without rearranging cargo. Users can adjust the queue as needed, and the system will save the modified version.
• Loading check: A new work type for the mobile version, used for loading pallets/containers onto the truck. The system verifies that the correct pallets are loaded and checks against the loading queue, preventing users from loading incorrect pallets or altering the queue.
• Axle load: Calculate axle load before loading begins. The loading queue can then be adjusted based on this information to ensure compliance and safety.
