Drawback of having duplicate itemsI
  1. Inaccurate stock management - If we have multiple item codes created which is meant for same single item, then Inventory count becomes inaccurate and complex.
  2. Inaccurate material consumption- If duplicate items are there with different naming conventions, then there is high risk of wrong item consumption at the time of production.​
  3. Difficulty in locating the item - If item codes are category specific then it becomes easier to locate it.
  4. Inaccurate costing of material - Duplicate items results into scattered cost allocation to products.

  5. Increase in nonmoving items

Why Samadhan Extension?
  1. Product Template- Provision to create predefined templates for all item categories as per the policy of the organization is available. Manage categories, Attributes and Product template, all from single screen.​
  2. Templates have set of attributes which will depend on the characteristics on each category ​
  3. For each of these attributes, there are predefined attributes values applicable to the set characteristics of the item(s) to be created ​
  4. Addition of the attribute values can be assigned to a set of qualified people of the organization so that it is controlled and managed well ​
  5. Category specific number series- Product number generation is automated, and it can be configured with a format as applicable to specific category.​
  6. Product description- Product description is automatically created by concatenating the attribute values selected at the time of product creation.​
  7. Product UID- A unique identification is allocated to the product in back end.​
  8. Restrict duplicates- System doesn’t allow to create the product again with same attribute values. It restricts the duplicate item creation.​
  9. Add predefined Suffix- Suffix can be predefined against the category attributes which standardized your product description.
