Microsoft Teams integration for TeamDrive
This Microsoft Teams App enables you to work with files shared in TeamDrive from within Microsoft Teams, taking advantage of the secure end-to-end encryption of TeamDrive and the convenience and messaging functionality of Microsoft Teams.
Files from a local TeamDrive Space which are relevant to your team can be:
- Listed in a Tab on your channel
- Linked to in posts
- Opened directly from within the Teams app
In addition, files can be added to a Space from within Teams, and you can jump from a linked file to it's info-page in TeamDrive. Files always remain securely end-to-end encrypted.
In order to make use of this integration you need a local TeamDrive installation and a user account. You can download the TeamDrive app here.
When you start TeamDrive for the first time, you will be prompted to create a user account. Additional information on how to get started with TeamDrive, as well as help on a variety of other topics, can be found here.
