CoeFont Interpreter

CoeFont Interpreter is an AI-powered real-time interpretation tool designed to help multilingual teams communicate seamlessly in Microsoft Teams meetings.

The app transcribes spoken audio and delivers real-time translations using natural AI-generated voices. By integrating with Microsoft Teams' built-in Language Interpretation functionality (commonly used for human interpreters), participants can listen to interpreted audio directly within the meeting without requiring additional devices or complex setup.

CoeFont Interpreter is designed for international teams, global companies, conferences, and organizations that need to collaborate across languages in real time.

Account requirement

• To set up and manage meetings using this app, the meeting organizer must have an active Enterprise plan CoeFont account. Meeting participants do not need a CoeFont account in order to use CoeFont Interpreter during the meeting.
• To create a new organization account, register here
• If the user belongs to an existing organization, they must request access from their organization administrator, who can add them as a user to the organization account from the CoeFont Interpreter console

Usage conditions and limitations

• The app works by inviting bot(s) to a Microsoft Teams meeting and optionally leveraging Microsoft Teams' native Language Interpretation feature. For the latter, the Teams meeting organizer must have the required Teams policy and account permissions to enable the Language Interpretation functionality, so must the meeting participants to operate such functionality.
• Meetings using CoeFont Interpreter are currently limited to two languages simultaneously.
• To allow participants to listen to the audio in addition to the text translations, meeting organizers must configure the interpretation session by inviting the 2 language bots and then setting them up as interpreters in the Teams settings menu before the meeting starts, as explained in the CoeFont Interpreter - Teams Plugin Manual
• Some administrative features, such as terminology management and service configuration, are managed outside of Microsoft Teams through the CoeFont Interpreter console
• Performance may depend on meeting audio quality, network conditions, and supported languages.
