Knowa for Outlook

The Knowa email-to-discussion add-in for Outlook enables you to easily forward or copy an email into any of your Knowa discussions. Ensure your board or team remain informed of communication happening outside of the Knowa platform and retain a record of decisions that have taken place over email.

When should you send an email into Knowa?

• A decision that should be captured in Knowa for future reference or auditing
• Advice or feedback that needs to be shared with the whole board or sub-committee
• Conversation started on email but easier to continue in Knowa for security and more streamlined back and forth

How does it work?

1. Install the add-in
2. Open an email or compose a new email and click on the Knowa add-in icon in your toolbar
3. Log into your Knowa account
4. Choose the relevant Organisation, Space and Discussion to send the email to
5. If forwarding an email, add an additional custom message and choose whether to include the attachments
6. Hit send and click the success link to view the message in Knowa
