Coretek Solution Coretek will deliver a funded GitHub Adoption engagement to: • Assess the current DevOps environment and map out migrations (repos, pipelines, wikis, task planners) • Establish a modern, unified DevOps platform on GitHub Enterprise Cloud/Server • Drive developer enablement with GitHub Copilot and Codespaces • Enhance security posture with GitHub Advanced Security • Provide best practices for CI/CD with GitHub Actions, GitHub Packages, and GitHub Projects
Deliverables
- Assessment & Discovery • Inventory repositories, pipelines, permissions, boards, wikis across Bitbucket, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc. • Identify workloads most suitable for migration.
- Migration & Setup • Migrate source code with full commit history, permissions, and workflows. • Migrate task boards, wikis, and artifacts. • Configure GitHub Enterprise org structure, RBAC, and compliance policies.
- Enablement & Modernization • Set up GitHub Actions pipelines for CI/CD to Azure. • Implement GitHub Packages for dependency management. • Roll out GitHub Codespaces for cloud-based dev environments. • Adopt GitHub Projects for Agile planning.
- Security & Governance • Enable GitHub Advanced Security (Secret Scanning, CodeQL, Dependency Management). • Define branch protection, approval workflows, and audit policies.
- Developer Productivity • Deploy GitHub Copilot to accelerate coding and reduce repetitive tasks. • Provide training and adoption workshops.
Measure & Reward • GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Copilot, and GitHub Advanced Security adoption engagements are eligible for Microsoft funding if approved. • % of repositories migrated to GitHub Enterprise. • # of workloads onboarded to GitHub Actions CI/CD. • # of developers enabled with Copilot. • # of repos secured with Advanced Security. • Measured increases in deployment frequency and reduction in vulnerabilities.
